How much does a flat clearance in Potsdam cost?+
What matters is the number of rooms, the floor and whether there is a lift, how full the flat is, how close the van can get, and whether a cellar or attic is included. A two-room flat on the ground floor costs less than a full household on the fourth floor with no lift. After the free viewing we give you a written fixed price, with the credit for reusable items already deducted.
Why do you not quote a price per square metre?+
Because the floor area says little about how much work there actually is. What decides it is the number of rooms, the floor and the lift question, how full the place really is, how close the van can park, and whether cellar, attic or garage belong to it. An almost empty four-room flat on the ground floor is cleared in half a day, while a packed two-room flat on the fourth floor without a lift takes considerably longer. Anyone naming a square-metre price in advance is only estimating and corrects the invoice afterwards. We look once and then name a fixed price that holds.
What is the difference from an apartment clearance?+
A flat clearance means we clear a single flat, usually for handover to the landlord. When it is the entire household – often a house with cellar, attic and garage after a death in the family – that is an apartment or household clearance, and we have a separate Potsdam page for it.
