Outside Berlin the job usually looks different. Instead of one flat in an Altbau (a pre-war apartment building), it is a whole house with a garage, a barn or a full attic – so we plan enough people and the right van from the outset. You get the written fixed price before the appointment, with the drive already priced in.
If German is not your first language, that matters most at the handover: your landlord or the buyer will expect the place besenrein (broom-clean – swept and empty, the standard handover condition in Germany). That is what we hand back, and we put it in writing beforehand so there is nothing to argue about afterwards.

Do you come to Potsdam, Falkensee or Strausberg?+
Yes. Ten towns have their own page: Potsdam, Königs Wusterhausen and Oranienburg, plus Teltow and Stahnsdorf, Strausberg, Bernau bei Berlin and Panketal, Falkensee, Hennigsdorf and Hohen Neuendorf, Ludwigsfelde and Trebbin, and Wandlitz. How far from Berlin do you travel?+
We are out regularly within roughly 50 kilometres of Berlin. If your town is further out, ask anyway – we will tell you honestly whether the appointment can be planned in a way that works for both sides.
Does a clearout outside Berlin cost more?+
The drive goes into the calculation like any other effort, but what really decides the price is the amount, the access and the type of contents. After the free viewing you get a written fixed price, and it holds even if more turns up on the day than expected.
What does a clearout in the area cost?+
It depends on the scope – a single cellar unit costs considerably less than a whole house with a barn and outbuildings. Flat rates off the internet are rarely reliable for that reason. We view the site free of charge and then name a fixed amount.
Do you clear houses, garages and barns as well?+
Yes, and out here that is the rule rather than the exception. We clear the house, cellar, attic, garage, shed and yard. Sperrmüll (bulky waste), end-of-life appliances and hazardous waste go with us and are disposed of properly, with a certificate on request.
How quickly can I get an appointment?+
We reply to your request within 24 hours, and normally offer the clearance appointment itself within 24 to 48 hours. If it is genuinely urgent, short-notice and weekend appointments are possible.
Do I have to be there on the day?+
No. Especially if you live further away – or abroad – we can carry out the clearance after the viewing without you present, hand the keys to the landlord or a relative, and leave everything broom-clean.
What happens to furniture that is still usable?+
As much as possible stays in circulation. Furniture, appliances and electronics in good condition are passed on, or their value is offset against your fixed price. Metals go back into the raw-material cycle. Only what is left over is disposed of properly.
